Skin Care Centre Nurse/Manager Nina MacDonald Elected to Dermatology Nurses’ Association Board of Directors
Nina MacDonald, the Nurse/Manager for the VGH Skin Care Centre has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA)
The DNA is a professional nursing organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to quality care through sharing knowledge and expertise. The core purpose of the DNA is to promote excellence in dermatologic care.
The Canadian DNA (Western Chapter) is based out of the VGH Skin Care Centre. Ms. MacDonald is active in the local chapter and a past- president of the Canadian Western DNA Chapter as holding the position Website Editor for the DNA from 2004 until assuming her role on the Board of Directors.
“I am looking forward to working with the DNA to promote excellence in dermatology and patient care,” says Ms. Macdonald. “There is a growing community of nurses in Canada dedicated to skin patients.” Ms. Macdonald’s term on the DNA Board will run until 2009.
The DNA is headquartered in New Jersey.
